Strong Kids... Strong Families... Strong Communities

Together, the nation’s more than 2,500 YMCA's are the largest not-for-profit community service organizations in America, working to meet the health and social service needs of 18.9 million men, women and children in 10,000 communities in the United States. Y’s are for people of all faiths, races, abilities, ages and incomes. No one is turned away for inability to pay. The YMCA's strength is in the people they bring together.

Because all communities have different needs, all YMCA's are different. As the Gallatin Valley continues to grow with families and individuals a real need exists to offer a first-class community center where children, teens, families and seniors can learn, explore and play together. Your YMCA has been growing and serving the community for 9 years now with the help of hundreds of volunteers and dedicated staff.

Your YMCA is working towards having a full facility and has received over $1,000,000 in donations towards this effort thus far. Yet the Gallatin Valley YMCA already offers many programs aimed at helping children of all income levels participate in fun sports and camps, such as Flag Football, Basketball, Summer Adventure Day Camp in Bozeman, Belgrade and Livingston, Volleyball, Camp Child and more! Each year, we receive many scholarship requests from parents who cannot afford even our low fees. Through the generosity of our donors to the annual Partners For Youth Campaign and events like YMCA's Bang For The Buck, we are able to extend our programs to kids in need of financial assistance through full and partial scholarships. Our aim is to never turn a child away.

Our Mission
