The Gallatin Valley YMCA may not have a pool of our own yet, but water safety remains an important part of our work. Through partnerships with local pools, we offer swim lessons that help children learn essential skills, feel more confident in the water, and build a foundation for lifelong activity. Drowning is preventable, and teaching children how to swim is one of the most important ways we can help keep them safe.
Preschool Swim Lessons help kids ages 1-4 build water confidence and safety through fun, play-based instruction.
Early Elementary Swim Lessons help kids ages 5-8 build water confidence and safety through fun, play-based instruction.
Upper Elementary Swim Lessons help kids ages 9-13 build water confidence and safety through fun, play-based instruction.
The Bozeman Brookies are now the Gallatin Valley YMCA Swim Team! Competing in both USA Swimming and YMCA meets as GVYB, our team welcomes swimmers of all skill levels, from experienced athletes looking to compete at a high level to those who simply enjoy racing, improving their skills, and having fun in the water.
