The Bozeman Brookies are now the Gallatin Valley YMCA Swim Team! Competing in both USA Swimming and YMCA meets under the team symbol GVYB, we welcome swimmers of all levels — from highly competitive athletes to those who simply love to race and have fun in the water.

The Bozeman Brookies have been helping young swimmers grow in and out of the pool for generations. Now competing as the Gallatin Valley YMCA Swim Team, the Brookies continue a tradition of excellence, teamwork, and personal development while providing opportunities for swimmers of all ability levels.

From first-time competitive swimmers to athletes pursuing regional and national goals, the team focuses on building strong swimming skills, confidence, discipline, and sportsmanship in a supportive environment. Swimmers learn the value of hard work, goal setting, perseverance, and teamwork—lessons that extend far beyond the pool.
