Looking for Volunteers
Coach's Corner
Volunteer coaches are more than just leaders on the field, they are mentors, role models, and difference-makers for local kids. At the Gallatin Valley YMCA, our coaches help create a positive, encouraging environment where children learn teamwork, confidence, sportsmanship, and belonging. Whether you have years of experience or simply a passion for helping kids grow, we’ll provide the support and resources you need to succeed. Step onto the field, build relationships, and help shape the next generation, one practice, one game, and one child at a time.

We want to recognize the amount of time and effort to volunteer with our newly created incentive coaching program. Please apply to be a coach prior to registering your child(ren).

Growing the Game, One Team at a Time
New Way to Play
We’re excited to announce a new format for YMCA Flag Football! Beginning this season, players will register by individual grade level rather than combined divisions. That means no more K–1, 2–3, or 4–5 groupings, each grade will now have its own division whenever possible. This change helps create a better overall experience for players by improving skill balance, increasing confidence, encouraging friendships within the same grade, and creating more age-appropriate competition and development. It’s a new way to play that helps every athlete learn, grow, and belong the YMCA way.

Share your Love of Sports
With a New Generation
If you are looking for a way to make a difference in the community as well as advertise your business, consider becoming a sponsor of a YMCA program or special event. Sponsoring a program with the Y is giving to a cause and promoting community involvement.
Youth Flag Football Leagues Sponsorship Opportunities
The Y's Flag Football Leagues introduce young football players to the fundamentals of the game. Led by volunteer coaches, young football players work on the basic offensive and defensive skills in drills and games. Kids learn the value of teamwork, leadership skills and build self-confidence.
When you sponsor YMCA youth sports, you help the Y keep fees affordable and ensure that families who need a little extra financial assistance to participate can play with the help of a YMCA scholarship.
