Summer Camp Counselors

POSITION SUMMARY: Provides direct supervision of a group of children aged 5-12 in summer day camp. Providing a quality experience to children and parents focused on YMCA core values: honesty, respect, responsibility, and caring. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Supervises a group of children with a creative, fun, positive attitude 2. Implement program activities and curriculum that are culturally relevant and developmentally appropriate. 3. Adheres to program standards, including safety and cleanliness standards. 4. Attends staff meetings and trainings. 5. Follows YMCA policies and procedures, including those related to medical and disciplinary situations, child abuse prevention, and emergencies. 6. Maintains positive relations with parents and other staff. Models relationship-building skills in all interactions.

Child Watch Associate

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE INDIVIDUAL MUST BE AVAILABLE AT MINIMUM THE FOLLOWING TIMES: Wednesday, 7:50 am to 11:45 pm. Friday, 7:50 am to 11:45 pm. Child Watch Attendants provide a safe, caring, and enriching environment for members' children to enjoy while their parents use YMCA Facility. All Child Watch staff will be responsible for the overall successful day-to-day running of the Y Child Watch program and for high-quality childcare. Membership Associate

SHIFTS AVAILABLE: Monday - Friday 5 - 9 AM, Saturday 7:30 - 5 pm, Sunday 12 - 5 pm. Applicants should be willing to work flexible shifts, including morning openers, afternoons, weekends, and evenings. Under the supervision of the Membership Director, the Membership Associate delivers excellent service to all members, program participants, donors, volunteers, and guests of the Gallatin Valley YMCA. The outstanding associate will respond professionally and politely to member and guest needs, promote membership and programs, and maintain cleanliness and organization of area and systems. The Member Associate is a great communicator, enthusiastic, and committed to the mission and cause of the YMCA. The ideal candidate demonstrates a track record of sales, providing outstanding customer service, and a desire to build professional relationships with members, customers, and staff over the long term.

Summer Camp - Lead Counselor

POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for the planning, execution, and overall operation of a high-quality school-age child care camp site. This includes promoting YMCA core values and encouraging life-long learning. Develops and implements summer camp activities while supporting the Camp Director in leading efforts to create a safe environment for healthy, positive child development and strong family relationships while mentoring and supporting program staff (50% of workload).
