New Member Checklist

Welcome, let's GO!

Now that you are a member of the YMCA, here are a few things to help you get the most of your Y experience.

1) Get Your New Member Welcome Packet:  Be Sure to gather your new member welcome packet at the Front Desk. This will provide you an overview of YMCA's policies, hours and holidays, upcoming events, program information and more. 

2) Schedule a Tour: (if you haven't had one yet) Get familiar with your Y facility, programs, and services and meet the people who will help you transform your life.

3) Schedule a FREE SMART START consultation:  Be sure to schedule your consultation with our health and wellness team to learn about all the cardio and strength equipment available to you. They'll help you know where to access the most current group fitness schedule on our website and acquaint you with how to add the apps to your phone for listening to TV's or accessing our free wi-fi. 

4) Learn where to start:  In addition to your free consultation, you can work with our health and wellness team to identify your goals and create a plan tailored just for you during your FREE Health & Wellness Assessment. This 30-minute FREE assessment for new members will help you get started on an organized journey to better wellness.  Schedule your FREE assessment with the front desk or health & wellness team.

5) Get Connected and Stay Informed: Be sure you keep your information updated on your member profile page or by visiting the front desk. That way you'll receive the latest and greatest information on upcoming events, helpful health & fitness information, staff and member spotlights, special opportunities and so much more.  Be sure to like our Facebook or Instagram pages to stay informed and engage with us!

6) SHARE with friends: Build your community at the Y and invite your friends. You have 10 FREE guest passes per membership year.
