Specialty Camps Summer Themes 2026

Join us for YMCA Cheer, Dance & Gymnastics Camp—a fun week of movement, creativity, and skill-building. Campers will learn simple cheers, dance routines, and basic gymnastics in a supportive, upbeat setting. It’s a great way to try new things, build confidence, and stay active. BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND: Make It! Studio invites campers of all ages to design, create, and experiment through hands-on projects that spark creativity, problem-solving, and confidence in a collaborative studio-style environment. Each week of Make It! Studio will focus on a different creative discipline.  Please check the weekly schedule to make sure you signup for your favorites!

Campers step into the spotlight to explore broadcasting, storytelling, and media creation—learning to write, film, and present while building confidence, creativity, and teamwork in a fun, studio-style setting.  Each week will build upon creating the campers own podcast or radio/tv broadcast.  Utilizing local media networks and personnel...another camper favorite!

Campers dive into the world of fishing by learning casting techniques, knot tying, fish identification, and responsible outdoor practices, all through hands-on activities that build confidence, patience, and a love for the outdoors.

Campers become creative kitchen pros as they mix, measure, and prepare fun snacks while learning basic cooking skills, teamwork, and kitchen safety in a hands-on, playful environment.

Campers work together to design, build, and problem-solve through hands-on construction projects, learning basic building skills, tool safety, and teamwork while bringing their ideas to life.

Campers design, build, and engineer imaginative creations using LEGO® bricks while tackling fun challenges that build creativity, problem-solving skills, and teamwork.

Campers step into a magical world of spells, potions, games, and giggles as they imagine, create, and team up for enchanting adventures full of fun and creativity. 

Campers explore Montana’s rich history and rugged landscapes through hands-on activities inspired by nature, the Gold Rush, covered wagons, and ghost towns—learning about exploration, survival, and teamwork while connecting with the outdoors through adventure and discovery.

Campers sing, dance, act, and perform as they explore movement, voice, and storytelling, building confidence, creativity, and teamwork while having fun in a supportive, studio-style environment.

Petals & Produce Camp is the perfect blend of farm-fresh fun and flower-filled creativity! Kids will explore the garden as they pick vegetables and flowers, learn how to wash and prep their harvest, and practice simple kitchen skills like cleaning and cutting produce. Each day also includes hands-on floral design—cutting stems, arranging flowers, and creating beautiful bouquets to take home.

Step into Art Studio!, where creativity comes to life. Campers ages 6–9 will experiment with different mediums like watercolor, acrylic, pastels, clay, and mixed media while learning basic techniques in a fun and encouraging environment. From masterpieces on canvas to one-of-a-kind crafts, every day is packed with imagination, color, and creative confidence.
