The Find Your Talent Place

Gallatin Valley YMCA, Specialty Camps are more than fun--it's where kids build lasting passion, celebrate achievements, and discover talents they didn't know existed.

Summer with the Y begins February 11, 2026.

Why Kids and Parents Do Specialty Camps with the Y....

  1. Try Something New – Perfect for beginners exploring interests or experienced kids ready to level up.
  2. Small Groups, Big Impact – Specialty camps offer more individualized attention, helping kids grow at their pace.
  3. Creativity & Talent Shine – Kids express themselves, discover hidden talents, and grow creatively through hands-on projects, performance, and imaginative play—while parents love seeing confidence bloom in new ways.

Ages 6-9

Kids ages 6–9 explore creativity, building, imagination, and hands-on fun through themed camps like cooking, construction, LEGO® challenges, and magical adventures.

Designed like a creative studio, these camps give kids the space to explore passions, build skills, and express themselves through hands-on projects.  Each week is a different creative focus

Fish Fun

Fish Fun 1.0 and 2.0 introduce campers to the basics of fishing, from casting and knot tying to fish identification and outdoor stewardship, all through hands-on fun and guided instruction.

Our Registration Process

How it Works

Summer camp registration at the Gallatin Valley YMCA is easy and done online. Families select their camper’s grade level and desired camp weeks, then complete registration and payment through the YMCA’s portal. Member discounts, payment plans, and scholarship options are available, and spots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Scholarship Information

The Gallatin Valley YMCA offers financial assistance and camp scholarships to help families afford summer camp and ensure every child has the opportunity to participate, regardless of ability to pay. Assistance is typically based on family income and need, and families can apply for support during the online registration process or by contacting the YMCA directly for details about available funds and how to qualify.  Applications are due by January 31, 2026.  Click the button below for the application. All applications can be emailed to our Sports Coordinator, Lizzie Byrd.
